it is very hard from a person to go vegan one day. this book does help with the progress a lot. it helps to prepare for whats to come, and indeed encourage this change. i do plan to shift to a vegan diet and this book has helped me know what's next.
I enjoyed this book because it described the process I would go through to start to become a vegan. It gave me the pros and cons of being a vegan. I liked that I was given all kinds of suggestions on what to eat. No salads 24/7 - rather the book gave me suggestions for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. Chapter 9 showed me how to transition into this vegan lifestyle. My husband was a vegan in the past - I think he may use these transition suggestions to return to being a vegan and I may join him. Thumbs up!
I really enjoyed this book. I have always wondered about vegans. This book explains what a vegan is, the whole process about becoming a vegan and much more. It answered many of my questions and helped me understand this life style better. I am not a vegan myself, but I have learned a lot to create and improve my own diet.
